About the study programme

Studies are focused on theoretic sociology, social research methodology and social policy. It offers basic knowledge in the specific areas such as social anthropology, human ecology, political and economical sociology. The graduates can independently perform social analyses of political, economical, and cultural life of society, they can draw up a social policy in the public administration both at the local and a company level, act in the field of counseling, public opinion research, nonprofit sector etc. The graduates can also continue at Master programs educated at Faculty of Social Sciences - especially Sociology of Public and Social Policy.

Complete Study Duties

Student must pass all obligatory subjects and recommended alternative subjects (total 180 credits). Obligatory subjects: 135 credits. Optional subjects and obligatory optional subjects: 45 credits.
