A new academic publication titled Local and Global Impacts of the War in Ukraine, co-edited by doc. Zdeněk Uherek from our Institute and Jerome Krase from the City University of New York, has been released by Palgrave Macmillan.

This newly released 371-page volume reflects the ongoing commitment of ISS to produce high-impact academic work that addresses critical contemporary social issues within a global context. The book compiles essays from twenty international experts to analyze the structural transformations triggered by the 2022 Russian invasion.

The publication originated from an international academic conference held in Prague, which was jointly backed by Charles University and the Czech Academy of Sciences. The creation of this publication and coopearation between the above mentioned experts was supported by the Fulbright Commision.
