Representatives of the Department of Public and Social Policy at ISS attended the ECPR General Conference 2026

Representatives of the Department of Public and Social Policy at the ISS FSV UK participated in the ECPR General Conference 2026, held at Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

This event is one of Europe’s most significant gatherings in the field of political science.

At the conference, Arnošt Veselý presented a paper titled "When Evidence Is Personal: Civil Servants’ Experience and Educational Policy Attitudes", which examines the role of civil servants' personal experiences in shaping their attitudes toward education policy. In the academic program also participated Marie Jelínková, who served as a discussant on a panel focused on contemporary migration, integration, and migration policies in Europe, and Vilém Novotný, who was co-chairing the section "Approaching Actors – Institutions – Ideas Interactions in Public Policy and Policy Process Research."
