Sociological Ball
The 8th Sociological Ball will take place on Friday 28 March, 7 p.m. at the Paspův sál. This ball will commemorate Hans Christian Andersen and his fairy tales which are also reflection of the society, its values, inequalities and chanes. -

Jaroslava Hasmanová Marhánková from our Institute of Sociological Studies has explored various topics throughout her academic career. In recent years, she has primarily focused on the sociology of medicine. Through her current research on antibiotic resistance, she aims to deepen the necessary collaboration between medical and social sciences. At the Institute of Sociological Studies is the Miroslava Student Organization, which, thanks to the organization of both formal and informal events, helps students integrate into university life and facilitates communication between students and the institution.
