The Balkan, Eurasian and East European Studies programme focuses on modern history and current developments of "the East", understood as a territory composed of Central Europe, the Balkan Peninsula, and the Post- Soviet area, including the Caucasus and Central Asia. It trains the students in social science analysis of the political, social, and economic developments in a regional perspective. Students have flexibility in building up their own study programme within two study tracks – Balkan and Central European Studies and Russian and Eurasian Studies.
The application process for the next academic year 2019/2020 is now open. The application deadline is 30th of April.
Annual tuition fees for students comming from EU or EEA commencing in the academic year 2019/2020 are set at 3 000 EUR.
On 1st of December, Prague Area Students spent a wonderful day in Kutná Hora, a central Bohemian town, which is included in the UNESCO world heritage list.
